About the Department

The Department of Computer Science and Technology (CST) at ADGIPS, established in the year 2023, offers an undergraduate programme B. Tech. (CST) affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi.

Department of CST is committed to delivering a robust and industry-aligned curriculum that blends core theoretical foundations with practical applications in the realm of computing.

To cultivate technical acumen and leadership, the department actively organizes events such as coding contests, hackathons, faculty-led research initiatives, industrial training programs, expert seminars, and technical workshops. Department embraces the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), fostering academic excellence through structured assessments, continuous improvement, and skill-based training. Supported by expert faculty and modern infrastructure, the department aims to produce graduates who excel in competitive examinations, secure prestigious placements, and contribute meaningfully to the evolving landscape of technology.

Fee Structure

Eligibility

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.

Admissions Criteria: All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions. The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE. Note: Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission in these courses.

M1. To establish a robust foundation in computer science and technology concepts, covering core areas such as
algorithms, data structures, programming and cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence, data science, and
cybersecurity.
M2. To foster analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling students to design and implement efficient, scalable solutions for complex technological challenges through hands-on experience and real-
world applications.
M3. To instill ethical practices and sustainability in technology development, preparing students to be responsible innovators who contribute to both technological advancement and societal well-being.
