About the Department

Department of Computer Science & Engineering came into existence with the establishment of the Institute in 2003. The department aims at providing quality education in Computer Science. Department of Computer Science & Engineering works as the controlling center of computing for the entire institute. The department functions as a nodal agency for institute-wide computing and networking, providing internet connectivity to various departments through its servers, radio links, and switches. The department also has dedicated laboratories with state-of-the-art infrastructure to support teaching, research, and practical learning.

Eligibility

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.

Admission Criteria: All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main Paper-I) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Admissions shall be based on the merit/rank obtained in JEE Main as per the admission policy of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU).

Note: Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission in these courses.
