On the occasion of Akhil Jyoti 2026, the Department of Information Technology with the collaboration of Civil Engineering department at Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies organized a meaningful plantation drive on 13 April 2026 at 12:30 PM within the college premises.This initiative was held in the loving memory of our esteemed Founder Chairperson, Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Ji, as a tribute to his vision and values. The event witnessed the gracious presence and participation of respected Director Sir, HR Assistant Director Ma’am, IT HOD Sir, Chairperson Sir, and esteemed faculty members of the department.During the drive, saplings were planted across the campus, symbolizing a collective commitment towards environmental sustainability. Students enthusiastically participated alongside faculty, demonstrating their awareness of the importance of greenery and ecological responsibility.The plantation drive not only contributed to enhancing the campus environment but also instilled a sense of environmental consciousness among students. It stood as a reminder of the vital role each individual plays in preserving nature for future generations.
