Event Description:

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering organized an Online Digital Poster Making Competition on the occasion of National Science Day, celebrated on 28 February 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The event aimed to encourage creativity and innovation among students through digital platforms. The theme for the competition was “Digital Future with Computer Science”, highlighting the importance of technology in shaping the modern world.

Objectives

• To promote awareness about the role of computer science in the future.

• To enhance students’ creativity and digital design skills.

• To encourage the use of modern design tools such as Canvas, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AI-based tools.

• To provide a platform for students to express their innovative ideas visually.

• To celebrate National Science Day in an engaging and educational manner.

Participants

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various sections of the Computer Science & Engineering department. Participants created posters using different digital tools and submitted their entries in JPEG, PNG, or PDF formats through Google Forms. All participants followed the given guidelines, including the use of relevant visuals, minimal text, and proper file naming formats.

Results

The posters were evaluated based on creativity, relevance to the theme, visual appeal, and clarity of message. The best entries were selected as winners. The winners were awarded E-certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance and innovative ideas.

Conclusion

The Online Digital Poster Making Competition was a great success. It not only celebrated National Science Day effectively but also inspired students to think creatively about the digital future. The event enhanced participants’ technical and artistic skills while fostering a spirit of healthy competition. Overall, the competition proved to be an enriching and motivating experience for all involved.
