Technical Skill Development Workshop

Department of Information Technology, Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies organized a skill development program (under the Skill India mission scheme) on 16th April 2026 on the topic “Cyber Security Basics and Computer Hardware“ for the school students of Government Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, Shastri Park.

Mr. Ved Prakash Sharma & Mr. Aman, Assistant Professor of the IT Department, were the speakers for the session who delivered the session on the topic Cyber Security Basics and Computer Hardware, respectively, to equip them with fundamental knowledge and skills in two crucial areas of technology. The program was held to empower students with essential understanding and practical skills related to cybersecurity and computer hardware.

Objectives:

To educate students about the importance of cybersecurity in the digital age.
To familiarize students with basic concepts and principles of cybersecurity.
To provide hands-on training on securing digital devices and data.
To introduce students to the components and functioning of computer hardware.
To develop practical skills in assembling and troubleshooting computer hardware.
