About the Department

Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science came into existence in 2021. The department aims at providing quality education in field of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science with emphasis on research and innovations. The Department has state of art infrastructure in laboratories which is necessary to blend the theoretical & practical aspects of engineering. The department offers UG programme leading to B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. The Department has faculty members having expertise in wide variety of fields in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. Regular industry visits and guest lectures are organized to provide a platform for promoting entrepreneurship and multidisciplinary activities.

Eligibility

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.

Admissions Criteria: All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions. The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE. Note: Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission in these courses.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

PEO 1: Graduates shall accomplish in the field of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science by utilizing their acquired knowledge and abilities to build engineering solutions in making things simpler.
PEO 2: Graduates shall be adaptable to rapidly changing technologies and advances in order to achieve professional excellence.
PEO 3: Graduates shall be equipped with strong technical knowledge, competency in soft skills, lifelong learning skills that allow them to contribute ethically to the need of society.

PSO1: Comprehend the role of artificial intelligence and data science in various domains like businesses, healthcare, expert systems, etc. for efficient data storage, analysis and visualization.
