The ‘Centre of Legal Education’ at ADGITM, Delhi has recently been established in the year 2022 with the foremost objective to evolve and impart comprehensive and interdisciplinary legal education which is relevant for the socially developed country. Through legal education we aim to promote legal values that are enshrined in the Constitution of India. Furthermore, our Centre of Legal Education attempts towards imparting legal knowledge to the society in large. The process targets to promote legal awareness and to achieve political, social and economic Justice.
Our ‘Centre of Legal Education’ is duly approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU),
At ADGITM Centre of Legal Education, there are a number of Law Journals regularly subscribed to and available ensuring deep study for the students. The Centre is highly enriched with e-Journals and e-books. The staff is highly qualified, humble and supportive. A free Legal Aid Clinic is also functional to spread legal literacy and suggest remedial measures for the reinstatement of the rights of the vulnerable group of the Society. The curriculum teaching is done through innovative teaching strategies and includes regular Moot Courts and case study methods. As a part of Co- curricular activities, we focus on extempores, Group Discussions, Debates, Symposium and Seminars. The Court visits, Jail visits, Parliament visits, Legal Awareness Camps, are part of regular activities undertaken by the Institute New Delhi.
Our campus is well connected through Metro Railways from ISBT- Kashmere Gate and Shastri Park, New Delhi.
