Overview

The Department of Computer Science, ADGIPS, successfully organized an Industrial Visit to Network Bulls, Gurugram on 17th April 2026 for B.Tech students. The visit was conducted with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to networking technologies, industry infrastructure, and real-time implementation of computer networking concepts. The industrial visit served as an important step towards bridging the gap between theoretical academic learning and practical industry applications.

The visit was organized to help students:

Understand real-time networking infrastructure and setups

Observe practical implementation of routers, switches, servers, and firewalls

Gain knowledge about network administration and troubleshooting

Explore career opportunities in Networking, Cyber Security, and Cloud Technologies

Connect classroom concepts of Computer Networks with real industry practices

Visit Experience

A group of approximately 40 students, accompanied by faculty coordinators, visited the Network Bulls campus in Sector-14, Gurugram. During the visit, students were introduced to professional networking laboratories and enterprise-grade infrastructure. Experts at Network Bulls demonstrated practical setups involving:

Router and switch configurations

IP addressing and subnetting concepts

Network topology design

Firewall and security implementation

Server room management and data communication systems

Students also interacted with industry professionals and gained valuable insights into current trends, certification paths, and required technical skills in the networking domain. The students actively participated throughout the session and showed keen interest in understanding real-world networking systems. Their queries related to Cisco technologies, cloud networking, cyber security, and career prospects made the visit highly interactive and informative.

Event Coordination

The industrial visit was successfully organized under the guidance of Ms. Tarina Jayant, Department of Computer Science.
