Overview
The Department of Computer Science at ADGIPS, under the banner of its official technical society CompTech Scientia, organized IdeaXcelerate, a Startup & Tech Innovation Pitch Event, on 19th February 2026 as part of UTKARSH 2026.
The event was designed to provide B.Tech students with a platform to present innovative ideas, entrepreneurial concepts, and technology-driven solutions that could potentially transform into real-world startups. IdeaXcelerate encouraged students to think creatively, develop problem-solving approaches, and present their ideas in a structured pitch format.
About the Event
IdeaXcelerate was conceptualized as a startup-style pitching competition where participants showcased innovative ideas addressing modern technological and societal challenges.
Students were encouraged to think beyond conventional academic boundaries, develop startup concepts, and present them in front of peers and faculty members. The event aimed to nurture entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and confidence in public presentation among students. The program was conducted in the Smart Class (Room No. 3201) and lasted for three hours, during which participants presented their ideas and engaged in interactive discussions.

The evaluation and final decision of the competition were conducted by Dr. Nitin, who served as the Jury Member for the event. She carefully reviewed the ideas presented by the participants and assessed them based on innovation, feasibility, and presentation quality. Her valuable insights and fair judgment played an important role in selecting the most impactful and promising ideas.
Prizes and Winners
The competition concluded with the announcement of the winners, who were recognized for their innovative ideas and effective presentations.
🥇 1st Prize: Vishal Singh – Awarded Boat Earphones for presenting the most innovative and impactful startup idea.
🥈 2nd Prize: Pranav Yadav – Awarded a Water Tumbler for his creative and well-structured idea presentation.
🥉 3rd Prize: Raghav Aggarwal – Awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for his commendable effort and innovative concept.
All winners were appreciated for their creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurial thinking, which truly reflected the spirit of IdeaXcelerate – Where Ideas Turn Into Startups.

IdeaXcelerate proved to be an engaging and inspiring event that motivated students to think innovatively and explore entrepreneurial opportunities in technology.
The competition helped participants enhance their presentation abilities, problem-solving mindset, and startup-oriented thinking, while promoting a culture of innovation and technological creativity within the Department of Computer Science.
