Objective
The objective of the Poster Making Competition was to provide Civil Engineering students with a creative platform to present innovative ideas and practical solutions related to smart cities and sustainable urban development. The event aimed to encourage students to think critically about the future of urban infrastructure, environmental sustainability, resource management, and technology-driven development. Through visual communication, students were encouraged to connect their academic knowledge with real-world urban challenges and develop a vision for inclusive, resilient, and sustainable cities.
Key Objectives of the Event
- To encourage students to explore innovative concepts related to smart cities and modern urban infrastructure.
- To create awareness about sustainable urban development and environmentally responsible engineering practices.
- To provide a platform for students to communicate technical ideas through creative visual representation.
- To promote critical thinking and problem-solving approaches to real-world urban challenges.
- To highlight the role of Civil Engineers in planning resilient, efficient, and sustainable cities.
- To encourage the integration of technology, sustainability, and infrastructure in future urban development.
- To develop students’ creativity, presentation skills, technical understanding, and professional confidence.
