Alumni Expert Session on Defence Career & Life at OTA

On 24th March 2026 at 11:30 AM onwards, the institute successfully organized an insightful expert session featuring Mr. Abhay Verma, Officer Cadet at the prestigious Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya.

The session was conducted on the engaging and inspiring topic:
“Breaking, Building, Becoming: Life at OTA after Cracking SSB”

Mr. Verma shared his remarkable journey of clearing the Services Selection Board (SSB) and entering the rigorous training environment of OTA. He elaborated on how the process first breaks an individual’s comfort zone, then builds discipline, resilience, and leadership qualities, ultimately helping them become a confident and responsible officer in the Indian Armed Forces.

The session provided students with:

A clear understanding of the SSB selection process
Insights into the day-to-day life and training at OTA
The importance of mental strength, discipline, and teamwork
Motivation to pursue a career in the defence services

Students actively participated in the session and gained valuable knowledge about the challenges and opportunities in the defence sector. The interactive Q&A session further helped clarify doubts and inspired many aspiring candidates.
