Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Law School, ADGIPS, organized an Expert Talk on “Cyber Crime Investigation & Digital Forensics in India: Legal Practice & Challenges” on 24 August 2026 at the Auditorium, Law School. The session was conducted to provide students with practical exposure to the growing intersection of law, technology, cyber crime investigation and digital evidence.
Expert Session
The session was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Archana Sarma, Professor & Head of Department, The NorthCap University, Gurugram. She discussed important aspects of cyber crime investigation, digital forensics and the legal handling of electronic evidence, including its authenticity, preservation, admissibility and chain of custody.
Student Participation
The programme witnessed the participation of 72 students and 11 faculty members, with students actively engaging in discussions on cyber crime investigation, digital evidence, privacy, jurisdiction and the role of lawyers in cyber crime cases.
