Objective:
Organising a debate event aims to empower students with essential skills like public speaking, critical thinking, and teamwork, while fostering a culture of respectful discussion and healthy competition. By participating in debates, students develop confidence, research abilities, and effective argumentation techniques, enabling them to
articulate their opinions and perspectives on current topics. The event promotes intellectual curiosity, encourages leadership, and nurtures talented individuals, ultimately contributing to the holistic development of students. – Enhance public speaking and communication skills among participants – Foster critical thinking, research, and argumentation abilities – Encourage teamwork, collaboration, and healthy competition – Provide a platform for students to express opinions and perspectives – Develop confidence, poise, and leadership skills – Promote awareness and discussion on current topics and issues – Cultivate a culture of respectful disagreement and constructive feedback – Identify and nurture talented debaters and leaders
