1. Introduction
The Department of Management organized a Poster Making Competition on the theme “Sustainable Development” to encourage students to express their ideas and understanding of sustainable growth through creativity and innovation. The competition aimed to promote environmental awareness, responsible management practices, and the importance of sustainability in today’s business world.
2. Objectives of the Competition
The key objectives of the event were:
- To create awareness among students about the concept and importance ofsustainable
- To encourage creative thinking andinnovative visual representation of management ideas related to sustainability.
- Tointegrate academic learning with real-world challenges of environmental protection and responsible business practices.
- To enhance students’ presentation and teamwork skills through participative learning
3. Theme of the Event
The theme “Sustainable Development” focused on balancing economic growth, environmental protection, and social well-being. Students were encouraged to highlight concepts such as:
- Greenbusiness practices
- Renewableenergy
- Wastemanagement and recycling
- Corporatesocial responsibility (CSR)
- Sustainableproduction and consumption
- Eco-friendlyinnovations in management
4. Participation
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 11Students of the BBA and MBA program. Participants worked individually or in small groups to design visually appealing and conceptually strong posters. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and management insights in a practical manner.
5. Event Description
The competition was held on 7th November 2025 in room no 1203 in Block 1. Students were allotted 150 minutes to create their posters.
The posters were evaluated by a panel of judges based on the following criteria:
- Relevanceto the theme
- Creativityand originality
- Clarityof message
- Presentationand visual appeal
6. Results and Recognition
After careful evaluation, the following participants were declared winners:
- FirstPrize: [Diksha Gupta, Harshit Aggarwal]- BBA 3 Sem
- SecondPrize: [Hritik Tyagi,Gaurav Bhikha,Shruti Gupta]- MBA 1 Sem
All participants received certificates of participation as a token of appreciation for their efforts and creativity.
7. Outcome and Feedback
The Poster Making Competition successfully achieved its objectives of promoting environmental awareness and sustainable thinking among students. The participants demonstrated deep understanding of sustainability through their visual ideas and innovative designs. Faculty members appreciated the initiative, and students expressed enthusiasm for participating in more such creative learning activities.
8. Conclusion
The Poster Making Competition on “Sustainable Development” was a great success. It not only inspired students to think critically about sustainability but also encouraged them to integrate responsible management practices into their future professional roles.
