Overview
The Department of Computer Science celebrated Diwali 2025 on 15th October 2025 with immense enthusiasm and festive spirit. The celebration reflected the essence of Diwali — the triumph of light over darkness and the spirit of joy, unity, and positivity. The venue was beautifully decorated with colorful rangoli designs created by students, diya lamps, and handmade paper lanterns, giving the entire floor a radiant and vibrant look.
Activities
The celebration featured a series of creative and cultural performances that brought together art, music, and festivity:
- Rangoli Making– Students collaboratively designed and created intricate rangolis, symbolizing creativity and teamwork.
- Singing Performances– Melodious songs were performed by Harshit Bhardwaj (2nd Year CS) and Vipin Sharma (3rd Year CS), filling the hall with festive cheer.
- Dance & Music Session– After the performances, students gathered for an energetic dance and music session, celebrating togetherness and joy.
- Diya Decoration & Lighting– Students decorated diyas and lit them across the lobby, spreading warmth and positivity.
Participation
The celebration saw over 20 enthusiastic student participants from across batches. Faculty members also joined the celebration, appreciating the students’ creativity and festive arrangements.

- Students showcased traditional attire, adding cultural vibrance to the event.
- Singing and dance performances created a lively, joyful atmosphere that reflected the festive essence of Diwali.

The Diwali Celebration 2025 brought together students and faculty in a joyful and inclusive celebration. It strengthened departmental unity, encouraged cultural expression, and spread happiness and light — truly embodying the festival’s spirit of togetherness and celebration.
