Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies, through its Law School, is organizing an insightful workshop titled “The Role of AI in Promoting Human Rights in India.” The session is designed for students of the BA LL.B and BBA LL.B programs to explore the intersection of technology, law, and human rights.
The workshop will focus on how Artificial Intelligence is shaping modern legal systems and contributing to the protection and promotion of human rights. Participants will gain valuable insights into the ethical, legal, and policy challenges surrounding AI technologies and their implications for governance, justice delivery, and civil liberties in India.
The session will be delivered by Adv. Richa Jaiswal, Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India. She will share her professional expertise on the evolving role of AI in strengthening transparency, accountability, and access to justice within the framework of human rights law.
This workshop aims to encourage students to critically analyze the growing relationship between emerging technologies and legal frameworks while preparing them to address future challenges in the field of law and governance.
