Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies is pleased to announce an academic visit organized by the Law School for students of the BA LL.B and BBA LL.B programs to the National Human Rights Commission of India.
The visit aims to provide students with practical exposure to the functioning of India’s premier human rights body and to enhance their understanding of constitutional rights, legal mechanisms, and institutional frameworks dedicated to the protection of human rights.
During the visit, students will gain insights into the role and responsibilities of the Commission, its procedures for handling complaints, and its contribution to promoting and protecting human rights across the country. The experience will also allow students to interact with officials and observe how legal principles are implemented in real-world governance and policy.
