Key Objectives:

Event Structure:
Ø The event began with a brief introduction to the Union Budget 2026–27, followed by two informative presentations explaining its key highlights, objectives, and major allocations.
Ø A short and engaging cartoon video was shown to simplify complex budget concepts, making it easier for the audience to understand key aspects in an interesting way.
Ø Participants performed a role play depicting the process of budget formation, including roles such as Finance Minister, policymakers, and citizens to enhance practical understanding.
Ø Students participated in a presentation competition where they analyzed different sectors of the budget and shared their insights creatively and effectively.
Ø The event concluded with the announcement of results, followed by prize distribution to the winners and appreciation for all participants.
Judging Criteria of the Activity:
The evaluation of the Union Budget Presentation is based on five key parameters, each carrying 10 marks. Participants are assessed on analytical ability and content quality, focusing on accuracy and depth of insights. Communication skills evaluate clarity, confidence, and expression. Audience connects measures engagement and interaction during the presentation. Slides quality considers visual appeal and effective use of content. Understanding and clarity assess conceptual knowledge and the ability to explain budget concepts simply while responding confidently to questions.
Outcome of Activity:
