ADGLS LEGAL AID CELL

The ADGLS Legal Aid Cell is a vital institutional initiative dedicated to promoting access to justice and fostering social responsibility among law students. Functioning in alignment with constitutional values and the objectives of legal education, the Cell seeks to bridge the gap between law and society by extending legal awareness and assistance to the underprivileged and marginalized sections of the community.

The Legal Aid Cell actively organizes legal awareness programmes, workshops, camps, and outreach activities on issues such as fundamental rights, legal remedies, women and child protection laws, consumer rights, labour laws, and alternative dispute resolution. Through these initiatives, students gain practical exposure to the application of law while developing a strong sense of empathy, ethics, and professional responsibility.

Under the guidance of faculty members and in collaboration with legal professionals, NGOs, and legal services authorities, the Cell provides basic legal guidance, counselling, and referral support, strictly in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards. Participation in Legal Aid activities enables students to understand grassroots legal challenges and the transformative role of law in social justice.

The ADGLS Legal Aid Cell embodies the institution’s commitment to experiential learning, community engagement, and the constitutional mandate of ensuring justice for all.
