Event Structure:
- Registration of Participants: Interested students will register individually for the event and mention their talent category (singing, dancing, poetry, mimicry, etc.).
- Performance Round: Each participant will get a fixed time (3–5 minutes) to perform their talent on stage.
- Judging Criteria: Performances will be evaluated by judges based on creativity, confidence, stage presence, and overall impact.
- Audience Engagement: The audience will be encouraged to support and motivate performers through applause and participation.
- Result Declaration and Awards: Judges will announce the winners, and certificates/prizes will be awarded to the best performers.
Judging Criteria of the Activity:
The performances in the event “I Am the Star” were evaluated on four important parameters, each carrying 10 marks. Performance (10 marks) assessed the overall quality, creativity, and presentation of the act. Stage Coverage (10 marks) evaluated how effectively the participant used the stage space and maintained visibility and movement during the performance. Audience Connect (10 marks) measured the performer’s ability to engage, entertain, and interact with the audience. Confidence (10 marks) judged the participant’s stage presence, body language, and self-assurance while performing. The participant with the highest total out of 40 marks was declared the winner.
Event Highlights of the Activity:
The event “I Am the Star” witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who showcased their talents in different categories. In the dance category, participants delivered energetic and creative performances that captivated the audience. The poetry segment reflected students’ expressive abilities and powerful emotions through meaningful words and confident recitation. The ramp walk category highlighted students’ confidence, style, and stage presence as they walked the stage with elegance. The push-ups performance demonstrated physical strength, determination, and endurance, receiving loud appreciation from the audience. Overall, the event created a lively and motivating atmosphere, encouraging students to explore and proudly present their unique talents.
