On 26th November 2025, the Centre for Legal Education (CLE), ADGIPS, commemorated Constitution Day with great enthusiasm and reverence, marking the adoption of the Constitution of India. The celebration was organised to reinforce constitutional values and deepen students’ understanding of democracy, fundamental rights, and duties.
The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge and enlightenment, followed by a graceful welcome dance dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Informative presentations introduced ADGIPS, the BBD Group, and the Centre for Legal Education, setting the context for the day’s significance.
In his address, the Principal of CLE highlighted the Constitution as the guiding force of Indian democracy, emphasizing its role in establishing the framework of governance and safeguarding justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. A solemn reading of the Preamble of the Constitution by dignitaries, faculty members, and students reaffirmed their collective commitment to its ideals.
The celebration was further enriched by vibrant cultural performances, including a thematic group dance portraying unity in diversity, a thought-provoking skit on constitutional principles in everyday life, a poetry recital honouring B. R. Ambedkar and the framers of the Constitution, and a soulful group singing performance of patriotic songs.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks and the National Anthem. Overall, the Constitution Day celebration served as a meaningful platform for reflection on the enduring values enshrined in the Constitution and inspired students to uphold its principles as responsible citizens and future legal professionals.
