Activity Objectives:
An induction programme aims to formally welcome new students and familiarize them with the institution’s academic environment, rules, and facilities. Its objective is to help students transition smoothly into campus life by providing essential information about courses, departments, faculty, and support services. The programme also seeks to reduce anxiety, build confidence, and promote a sense of belonging by encouraging interaction among students, teachers, and administrative staff. Additionally, it introduces institutional values, discipline, and ethical standards while motivating students to set academic and personal goals, thereby laying a strong foundation for their overall development and success.
Event Structure:
The BBA Induction Programme was organized over a span of 3 days, structured to blend academic orientation, motivational sessions, and interactive activities. The event was divided into the following sessions:
Day 1: Institutional Orientation
- Welcome address by Principal/Dean
- Introduction to the BBA curriculum
- Overview of institutional policies, rules, and student code of conduct
- Campus tour and resource orientation (Library, Labs, etc.)
Day 2: Academic & Professional Development
- Session on time management and goal setting
- Workshop on communication and presentation skills
- Talk by industry expert/alumnus on corporate expectations
Day 3: Personal Growth & Engagement
- Ice-breaking and team-building activities
- Introduction to clubs and student bodies
- Cultural performances and talent showcase
- Feedback session and distribution of participation certificates

Total Participants: 50 Approx. first-year BBA students
